Lets start your swim journey
New born - 10 months
Start as soon as you and your baby feel ready. Enjoy warm, 32°C water in a relaxed, welcoming environment, with you in the water alongside your baby every step of the way enjoying some quality time and bonding.
With just 4 parent & baby couples per class, our instructor is in the water to support and guide you as we gently introduce water safety, little kicks and fun Humpty Dumpty jumps—all at your baby’s own pace.
A lovely, confidence-building introduction to the water for you and your baby.
10 months - 2 years
A fun and engaging class with a parent or carer in the water. Through playful games, toys and activities, little ones can build confidence and develop essential early swimming skills in a relaxed environment. Water safety skills are naturally incorporated into every lesson, helping babies become comfortable and confident in the water while having lots of fun!
We keep lesson sizes small with only 4 baby/parent couples per lesson.
These lessons are still with a parent or guardian in the water. They are high energy and all about building confidence, having a splash, and helping little swimmers take those exciting first steps towards swimming independently!
In these lessons we have a maximum of 3 children per class. This means plenty of space, attention and time for each child to learn, explore and grow in confidence — without the lesson ever feeling too busy.
This class is without a parent in the water and is perfect for swimmers who are ready to take their first steps towards swimming with their parent on the poolside.
It’s the perfect transition from parent-and-child swimming, giving your little one the confidence to experience the water independently — but always at their own pace.
Just 3 children per class means every child gets plenty of attention in a safe, calm and enjoyable environment.
An instructor is in the water throughout the lesson, supporting and encouraging each child while they wear a suitable swim aid and parents are able to sit on poolside to watch.
Everything you need to know to help make your swimming lesson as easy and enjoyable as possible.
👶 Happy Nappy
All babies and children who are not yet toilet trained must wear a Happy Nappy over a disposable swim nappy. This helps keep our pool clean and hygienic. We have 10% discout links for Splash About and Konfidence who both stock Happy Nappy's.
⏱️ Lesson Length
All lessons are 30 minutes, giving little ones plenty of time to enjoy the water without becoming too tired.
🏊 Equipment Provided
There’s no need to bring your own swimming equipment. Floats, swim aids and toys are all provided during the lessons.
🚻 Changing Facilities
There is a good size communal changing area with toilet for your convenience, benches and hooks for clothes.
Swimwear
Towel x 3
Disposable swim nappy, if required
Happy Nappy for children who are not yet toilet trained
Clean, warm clothes for after the lesson
Any usual changing or toiletry essentials
Please arrive approximately 10 minutes prior to your lesson start time to allow enough time to get changed and be ready.
Little ones can get chilly after swimming, so a warm towel and cosy clothes are recommended.
If your child is unwell, particularly with sickness, diarrhoea or a contagious illness, please wait until they have recovered before attending.
Try to allow enough time around feeds so your baby is comfortable and settled for their swim.
Most importantly, come ready to have fun! 💦
